Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Corbenic Shop & Café website and the purchase of any goods from us. By placing an order you confirm that you accept these terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.
About us
Corbenic Shop & Café is operated by Corbenic Camphill Community, a charity registered in Scotland (SC016291), with its registered address at Corbenic Camphill Community, Trochry, Dunkeld, Perthshire PH8 0DY. Our shop and café are located at 19 Bridge Street, Dunkeld PH8 0AH.
Placing an order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an order confirmation email acknowledging that we have received your order; this is not an acceptance of your order. A contract between you and us is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation, or when the goods are made ready for collection.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where stock is unavailable, where there is an error in the price or description of a product, or where we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full.
Pricing and payment
All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown separately at checkout.
We make every effort to ensure that prices are accurate at the time you place your order. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.
Payment is taken at the point of order via the secure payment provider shown at checkout. We do not store your full payment card details.
Delivery and collection
We aim to dispatch orders within a reasonable period after receipt and will provide an estimated delivery time at checkout. Delivery times are estimates only and we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, or on collection from the shop. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.
Returns and refunds
If you are a consumer based in the UK, you have the right to cancel your online order and return goods to us within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To exercise this right, please contact us using the details below before returning the goods.
Returned goods must be in their original condition and packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the goods are faulty or were sent in error. Once we have received and inspected the returned goods, we will refund the purchase price using the same method of payment used for the original transaction.
This right of cancellation does not apply to certain items, including perishable food and drink, made-to-order items, and goods that have been unsealed where return is not suitable for health or hygiene reasons. Your statutory rights regarding faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected.
Café purchases
Food and drink purchased in the café is sold for immediate consumption and is not subject to the online returns policy above. If you are unhappy with anything you have purchased in the café, please speak to a member of our team at the time so we can put it right.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers, where offered, are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase. They are not exchangeable for cash and any unused balance after the expiry date will be forfeited.
